Greetings from the one who loves and cares for you. I wrote you a letter because I would like to share with you about the good news. This good news changes the life of a person. I am now a Christian. I accepted Jesus Christ in my life as my Lord and Savior. Life in this world is temporary -- a time to live and a time to die. Since we don't know the exact time when we are going to leave this world, we should be prepared to face it. The good news I would like t share with you is about God's love and His wonderful plan for us. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son (Jesus Christ) that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. But demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. We cannot save ourselves by doing good, by going to church, or by being religious. We try to earn something we do or something we want to be, but that is not God's way. We must repent of our sins. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no man can come to the Father but by Him. Yet, to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -- not by works, so that no one can boast. If you already received Jesus Christ in your life as your Lord and Savior -- Praise God! But if you want to accept Him in your life, here is a suggested prayer: "Lord Jesus, I come in your presence, I admit that I am a sinner. I know that you died for me on the cross and rose again after 3 days. I know I cannot save myself. I repent all of my sins. I now accept you as my Lord and Savior. Amen." Now that you have received Him in your life, God assures us that He has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
